How does it work?
With powerful, secure DocuVault repository technology as its foundation, the ASG-Cypress Suite specifically addresses the following enterprise requirements:
ASG-Cypress Content Processing Facility - The ASG-Cypress Content Processing Facility brings all enterprise content together by automatically delivering information needed to streamline business processes and increase employee effectiveness. Any pages processed by ASG-Cypress, regardless of originating application or platform, can be automatically assembled, enhanced, collated, sequenced, and delivered to any destination, enabling new, faster, and cost-effective business processes.
Report Distribution - Based upon an organization’s defined criteria, ASG-Cypress automatically identifies and separates large reports or bundles smaller, different reports. The reports are distributed to the appropriate individuals or groups according to their preferences, i.e., network printers, ASG-Cypress electronic Inboxes, fax, e-mail, etc. Individuals receive only their information, when they need it, and via their preferred means of delivery.
Data Mining - The ASG-Cypress Data Mining Module completely automates report mining. ASG-Cypress delivers powerful production class mining for both mainframe and client-server environments. On-the-fly, massive reports can be filtered, sorted, summarized, and transformed into a convenient Excel spreadsheets database files, or text files, then automatically routed to the appropriate recipient’s electronic mailbox, printer, fax, directory, or other enterprise destination – all without any end-user involvement.
Output Management - The ASG-Cypress Enterprise Output Manager efficiently centralizes the management of document delivery to all output devices in the organization. Document delivery and all output devices are monitored and controlled from a single user interface (e.g. job queues, stock assignments, suspend/resume printing, re-route output, history log, etc.). Regardless of the number and degree of output device disparity, ASG-Cypress centrally monitors and manages them all.
Web Delivery With ASG-Cypress - Web, documents and reports are immediately, yet securely, accessible from any web browser. Document integrity is uniquely preserved without converting the documents to "traditional" web formats, without requiring the installation of special viewing devices, and without the expense of maintaining a separate, dedicated web server. The organization can customize each user interface according to its particular business needs for an individual, department, group, etc.
Document Enhancement - Regardless of how many different system platforms and applications generate reports, checks, invoices or other documents, ASG-Cypress automatically formats the data according to the organization’s pre-defined criteria. The electronic forms overlays are created using any Windows-based application and ASG-Cypress automatically applies the forms to the data. ASG-Cypress also provides the necessary flexibility to place and format report data within a page. Separate regions within a page can be identified with the print data formatted and placed as desired.
Search & Retrieval & Archive - ASG-Cypress’ powerful search engine is named Knowledge Builder. Three different indexing schemas are simultaneously applied to all documents captured in the DocuVault: system indices (e.g., document title, creator, etc.), customized indices (the organization creates an unlimited number of indices based upon its unique business practices), and full-text indexing. This integral indexing methodology ensures that all relevant pages are returned according to the users’ canned and/or full-text queries.
